1. Sauna Rules

  • Hygiene: Guests must bring a towel to sit on and a shower towel. Direct contact with woodwork is not allowed, as it damages the wood.
  • Swimwear and Nudity: Swimwear is recommended. Full or partial nudity is allowed only if all present sauna guests agree. Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the sauna.
  • Supervision: A person over the age of 18 must be present at all times.
  • Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is not provided, but guests may bring their own, provided they remain sober. Visibly intoxicated guests or those causing disorder may be asked to leave without a refund.
  • Conduct and Liability: The Platform ApS may terminate the rental without refund if any guest is likely to cause damage, distress, or violates company policies.
  • Food and Drink: No food is permitted in the sauna.
  • Capacity Limit: A maximum of 12 guests is allowed on the sauna boat.
  • Swimming Restrictions: Jumping into the water from the sauna is prohibited. Swimming is only permitted in designated areas and is at guests’ own risk if done elsewhere.
  • Safety: Guests use the sauna at their own risk. If feeling unwell, guests should exit immediately.
  • Waste Disposal: Do not dispose of trash in the water.
  • Restroom Use: Public restrooms must be used. Urinating in or near the sauna is strictly prohibited.
  • Personal Belongings: The Platform ApS is not liable for items left in the sauna.
  • Noise and Music: Please keep noise levels low to respect neighbors. Only small music players are allowed; large sound systems are not permitted.
  • Business Use: Use of the sauna for business purposes requires prior written consent from The Platform ApS.

2. Booking

  • Minimum Age Requirement: Bookings may only be made by individuals aged 18 or older. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
  • Booking Confirmation: A reservation is binding once a reference number is issued, and payment is completed.
  • Renter Responsibility: The person making the booking (“Renter”) is responsible for all members of their group and will be the main contact for The Platform ApS.

3. Payment

  • Pricing: All prices include VAT.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via MobilePay and card through Quickpay.net. Cash payments are accepted in person only.
  • Price Changes: Prices may change without prior notice until the reservation is confirmed.
  • Drop-In Bookings: Guests may make and pay for drop-in bookings in person if space is available.

4. Insurance and Liability

  • Accidents and Damages: In case of any damage to the sauna or accessories, the renter must immediately notify The Platform ApS and await further instructions.
  • Renter Liability: The renter is responsible for the sauna and conduct of all individuals in their group. The renter is liable for all repair costs related to damages.
  • Recommended Insurance: Renters are advised to have appropriate insurance to cover potential damages.

5. Cancellation and Change of Booking

  • Cancellation Policy: Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations made after this period are not accepted, and no refunds will be provided.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Gift cards and coupons are non-refundable and must be used before their expiration date. Refunds do not apply under EU online purchase laws regarding 14-day refund periods.
  • Weather-Related Cancellations: The Platform ApS reserves the right to cancel bookings if wind speeds exceed 30 km/h.

6. Force Majeure

  • The Platform ApS is not liable for interruptions due to unfavorable weather, closed facilities, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In cases such as war, natural disasters, or extended outages, preventing the sauna service from being used, either party may terminate the agreement.

7. Personal Data

  • Definition and Usage Rights: “Personal Data” includes all information shared with The Platform ApS, such as data, content, and photos. By providing personal data, you grant The Platform ApS the right to collect, use, store, modify, and share it for processing bookings and marketing purposes.
  • Required Information: When booking, guests must provide their name, email, and phone number. This information is used to manage bookings and notify guests of any changes.
  • Legal Compliance: The customer confirms they have the right to share personal data as required.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform ApS is not liable for incidental, indirect, or unforeseen loss, damage, or expenses, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, opportunity, or business, regardless of foreseeability.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Danish law, except its rules on conflicts of law. The Court of Copenhagen has exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
